Hilary Boehme Room

 Toy Room

At the first Board of Education meeting to create a town museum, Mr. Boehme, at first, did not want the museum, he knew the museum would take off and expand in leaps and bounds and may not be controllable. Finally, voting yes, along with a unanimous vote, he was the first Kings Parker to give a substantial monetary donation, saying, “because, Leo, you can’t run a museum without some money.” The room displays toys, dolls, games and doll houses, as well as, cameras, typewriters, phones and a wooden phone booth.
